I receive many emails from new OSI Members asking a number of common questions. Instead of replying to each one separately, I have prepared this page to help members better understand the OSI System and can begin to promote their program as soon as possible without having to wait for my replies.
How Do I Set the Payment Preference in my Back Office?
The OSI System is a FREE downline builder, marketing plan and feeder system. As such, you don't pay for the OSI System. The payment processor was written into the software and cannot be deleted. That's why it's disconnected. So no matter how hard you try, it won't accept any payment options.
The independent businesses in the system have their own payment processors. You can set up your payment preferences once you join each business. That's how you will pay and get paid.
What if I'm Already a Member of the Core-Business, NPN, can I Still remain a Member of One Step 4 Income?
If you want to join and use the OSI System to build your business and you are already a member of NPN, you have two options.
1. You can quit NPN and resign up under your OSI sponsor. That way your OSI sponsor doesn't miss out on commissions. This is the best option if you don't have a downline in NPN yet. If you decide to go this rout, I would need your NPN link to send to your
downline.
2. You can set up a 2nd NPN account through your OSI sponsor's link.
You must let the administrator know how you want to proceed right away so the proper arrangements can be made. Make sure when you contact support to submit as much information as possible.
I Thought I Read That One Step 4 Income was a Free Program. Why Do I have to Pay to Join the Core-business?
Here's how it works. You begin by building your OSI team (downline.) Once you have 5 active members in your OSI team, you join the core-business, New Plan Network (NPN) by contacting support at osimembers@gmail.com and asking for the link to join.
We will search the master downline and send you your referring member's NPN link so you can join under him/her and remain connected to the same downline.
You either pay the fee to join NPN directly ($10.75 mo.,) or join one or more of the free business opportunities or paid services that we offer until you earn the money to join NPN. It's your choice. Most members opt to pay it because it's so inexpensive and only takes 2 referrals to break even.
You can't make money out of thin air, there has to be money paid in order to get money out. That's why we offer free-to-join businesses and programs so a profit can be made BEFORE you pay to join the core-business.
The fee(s) to join the businesses after that are taken out of the profits that you earn. So, if you choose, you NEVER have to take money out-of-pocket to finance your OSI feeder system.
You do have the option to join the businesses in the system before you make a profit. That is your right. But it is NOT mandatory that you do so.
When you have earned enough in profits to join business #2, you'll again contact support for the link. This process continues until you have joined all 7 businesses in the system and your downline follows you into these businesses.
I've Been Promoting Like Crazy and Can't Seem to Refer Anyone... Any Suggestions?
I understand completely what you're going through - been there... done that. The ONLY difference between the successful marketers and the unsuccessful marketers is that successful marketers NEVER quit. They understand how the "numbers game" works and know that it's just a matter of time before it turns around.
With that said... here are some suggestions:
- Make sure your website has your name and ID# listed above the "join now" button at the bottom of the page.
Traditionally, fall is the busiest time for people seeking opportunities to join. Remember that when you're promoting. If you don't sign anyone up in your first week or two - keep at it, eventually you'll still refer 5 (some will sponsor far more) within your first 30 days, so don't worry. But if you quit, you'll never sponsor anyone.
When I Sign Up for Safelists, Why Do They Ask Me for a "Contact" Email Address and a "List" Email Address?
When you sign up to send your messages to Safelists, you do what is called double opting in. That means you must verify two email addresses and agree to accept email messages as part of your Safelist membership. It basically makes it legal to send you advertising messages (mostly to your list address.)
The "contact" address is for the Safelist administration and the "list" address is for other members in the Safelist to send you
email ads. You will receive a lot of email messages in your list mailbox. The reason we use Gmail is because most Safelists accept it and gmail can handle 1 million messages before it bounces. If messages bounce (that's when your inbox receives more messages than it can handle and "bounces," or sends them back to the original sender.) the Safelist will delete your account.
Another nice feature of gmail is that it's easy to delete all the messages you receive with a click of a few buttons. So it doesn't matter how many messages you get (you're not going to read them anyway) it'll only take you less than 10 seconds to delete them.
You can get multiple gmail accounts from the following link: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount

I Looked Just Noticed that a Member in My Downline is Missing, What Happened?
If a member disappears out of your downline, it's because he/she either quit or signed up more than once.
If he/she signed up more than once, every additional registration is automatically deleted, so it leaves him/her in the downline of his/her original sponsor.
I Love the OSI Concept. Can I Sign Up More Than Once?
You can sign up for OSI more than once but not with the same name. Either use your first and middle initial, or your spouse's name for multiple accounts. Signing up for multiple accounts using the exact same name will get them deleted.
I Signed Up for a Safelist and it Isn't Working Properly.
Sometimes Safelists don't work for any number of reasons. OSI does not administer the Safelists, they are independent entities. That's why there's a "Bonus Safelist" tab in the navigation bar of the Accelerator Plan website, so you can select other Safelists if one or more isn't working.
You'll also find more Safelists and a Safelist directory that contains over 4,500 Safelists that you can choose from. That way you always have thousands of fresh prospects to send your messages to.
You can also join Traffic Hoopla (for free) and send to their top 20 responsive Safelists. You can join from the following link.
http://traffichoopla.com/cgi-bin/ref.cgi/32642/
Don't waste time with Safelists that don't work, find another one that does.
I'm Ready to Join NPN, What Do I Do Next?
If you're ready to join NPN, the proper procedure is to send an email to:
Type "Request to Join NPN" in the subject line. In the body of the message include the following information:
Full name
OSI ID#
Email address.
We will search for your referring sponor's NPN link and send it to you so you can join and remain in the same downline.
Once you register for NPN, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you send your NPN ID# to us so we have it on record and can submit it to your referrals when requested.
What to do if You Read Over the FAQ Page and Don't See an Answer to Your Question(s.)
Register for the member forum to get any other question(s) answered and help form OSI members and the OSI Administrator.
If you have a problem registering for the member forum, you can send a message to the OSI Administrator at: osimembers@gmail.com
IMPORTANT!!!

ALWAYS answered within 24 - 48 hours.
If you send a message to the OSI administrator and do not receive a reply within 24 hours, you need to send your message again from a different email address.
We cannot respond to messages that bounce due to spam blockers, full inboxes or for any other reason. We take pride in our support services and do not ignore OSI email. Thank you for your cooperation. OSI Admin.
