Here are six messages, with headlines (in bold,) that you can use to send to your downline. Hopefully they'll inspire your referrals to focus on the program and help you convert them into NPN members.
These letters (with some minor changes) are also sent automatically to each member after they join OSI. However, for one reason or another, not all members receive them.
You may change the content or structure of the letters to fit what you want to project, but you can not use deceptive copy or another person's name other than your own. You also must include an opt out message at the end so the receipient can cancel futrther messages from you.
Don't forget to insert names and email addresses where indicated.

1 million email messages at once, and gives you the
ability to delete messages with just a press of a
few buttons.

Understanding the OSI Reverse Universal Marketing Principal
Hi (insert referral's name),
I thought I'd drop you a note just to explain
what the Reverse-Universal-Marketing (RUM)
principal is and why it's important for you
to know.
I'll break the RUM principal down to make it
easy for you to understand.
REVERSE
Means that you reverse the business building
process by building a team of referrals BEFORE
you spend any money. (Keep in mind that you
cannot earn an income if you don't join the
core-business in the OSI System.
OSI gives you two options.
1. You can join a number of the free programs
that we offer so you can earn the $10.75 fee to
join the core-business.
2. Refer 5 active members (or leaders) and join
the core-business with a $10.75 investment of your
own. It only takes two referrals to "break even" in
the core-business. So most members opt for this
approach so they don't get "leapfrogged by their
referrals.
UNIVERSAL
This means that everything in the business
building/feeder system is exactly the same for
every member. This means everything can be
duplicated.
Every member receives the same marketing plan,
pre-written marketing materials and fre.e
advertising sources. That way, all you have to do
is "plug-in" to the system and follow the directions
in the plan. The entire process takes less than
20-minutes a day - 5 to 6 days a week, depending on
your Internet connection speed.
MARKETING
Instead of prospecting and recruiting new members
face-to-face, all you do is invite people to your
website via the Internet. You then let the website
do the rest of the work for you.
So there's no phone calls, seminars or meetings to
attend, motivational tapes to listen to, or videos to
watch.

How are Your Promotions Going?

websites. Hopefully you understand how the downline/feeder
system works.
In order to be successful with One Step 4 Income, you will
have to possess three important qualities...
FOCUS, PERSISTENCE & PATIENCE.
You will need to perform a small but focused and persistent
effort to send your pre-written email messages to the Safelists
that we provide for you. If you do, you can earn more money
than you ever thought possible.
We use Safelist Marketing for a couple of reasons.
1. Cost saving. You can send your messages completely free.
2. Legal - Safelist members have agreed to receive your ads
and in most cases are double opt-in, so we don't break any
CAN/spam rules or regulations.

Today I just want to give you a review of One Step 4 Income
to help you understand what a great opportunity you have in
your hands. If you focus on the Accelerator Plan for the
next 4 weeks, you will be well on your way to a prosperous

PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE... give yourself the biggest gift

Here's what One Step 4 Income is... and what it's not.
OSI is a proven downline builder/feeder SYSTEM and marketing
STRATEGY where all the members are actually beside you in the

out of your pocket. That gives you the ability to build your
organization first without going broke in the process
Here's how it works...
Step #1 - You market the OSI System by sending out pre-written
email messages to various Safelists 5 to 6 days a week. This should
only take you no more than 20 - 30 minutes a day. Everything is
explained in your Accelerator Plan.
Step #2 - If interested prospects opening your messages can go to
your site by clicking on your personal URL link in your message.
Once there, the website explains One Step 4 Income and the
"Reverse-Universal-Marketing" principal.
If the prospect sees the logic and the benefits of the system,
he/she will join your organization. (This is most likely the way you
joined, so you can see first hand that it works.)
Step# 3 - You continue sending out messages It'll take you roughly
1 to 3 hours per week to complete 6 daily tasks.
Step #4 - You join the core-business. You can join the core-business
whenever you desire. It costs $10.75 to join and $10.75 per month to
remain a member. Most OSI members opt to join right away so as not
to get "leapfrogged" by their referrals and lose a commission. It only
takes 2 referrals to break even with the core-business which can easily
be accomplished before the first monthly fee is due.
Step# 5 - When you're referrals request the link to join the
core-business, they contact the OSI Administration and request the
link to join. They will be sent their referring sponsor's link. If
their referring sponsor hasn't joined the core-business and has no
link, we will search for the next upline sponsor until we find one
that has a link to submit.
The OSI administrator is only there for support and guidance - NOT to
build your business for you. The system is free, you can use it to
create wealth, or you can sit on your hands and do nothing -- it's
totally up to you.
Step #5 - When you have made at least $25 dollars in profits from
your core-business, you will move to the second of 6 steps in the
NPN payplan. That way you income will continue to grow and you will
stay ahead of your referrals in the progression. Once you reach
the 6th step in the NPN payplan, you will join business number
two in the OSI System.
Step #6 - ALL OSI "active" members follow the same progression. You
only have to focus on promoting a single URL (your OSI personal URL) by
following the Accelerator Plan. Your business will virtually build itself
as your referrals are fed into each business in the system.
With the OSI System, you're NEVER required to make phone calls, spend
money on leads or advertising, write ads or emails, build websites,
or do anything else. Your ONLY effort is to send out your pre-written
messages until you sponsor at least 5 new active members. That's it!
You can, however, contact anyone in your downline without fear of anyone
"stealing" referrals because the OSI Administration submits the links to the
businesses in the system for "checks and balances" and to prevent fraud.
The main OSI website actually sponsors the members for you, you just
need to give away the system for FREE. To do this... by using the
pre-written messages that we provide for you. The website will do all the
rest.
I hardly consider that much of an effort... how about you?
NOTE: You can sponsor as many new members as you wish -- this will
increase your income and grow your business much faster than if you
just sponsor 5.
Step #7 - When members in your organization feed into each business
after you, you earn commissions on their membership fees and on any
products or services they purchase from any of the businesses.
Step #8 - As you proceed through each step in the payplan your
commissions and overall income will increase dramatically.
Step #9 - After you have joined the businesses in the system, we will
offer you some additional opportunities that you can use to enhance and
secure the money you've made. That way you can protect yourself, and
your family's financial future.
Step #10 - You will be asked to donate some of your earnings to the
charity of your choice. This is not a mandatory step, but would be a
nice gesture nonetheless.

Tips to Increase Your OSI Referrals
Hi (insert referral's name),
The ONLY difference between the successful marketer and the
unsuccessful marketer is the successful marketers NEVER quit.
They understand how the "numbers game" works and know that it's
just a matter of time before it turns around.
It's feast or famine in this business and can change in a matter
of minutes. So NEVER give up because one minute you may think
that you'll never refer anyone, and the next minute you'll look to find
you've referred 10 new members.
With that said... here are some suggestions:
=> Make sure your website has your name and ID# listed above
the "join now" button at the bottom of the page.
=> Use different headlines. That's what gets people curious
enough to open your message. The headline is the MOST
IMPORTANT part of your message! If prospects aren't opening your
message, they'll never be your referrals either.
=> Make sure the body of your message is formatted properly. The
lines in your sentences should be no longer than 55 characters
(including spaces.) And you should use a lot of paragraphs to
break up the message and make it easier to read. Also, make sure
there's a blank line between paragraphs to help break it up.
=> Never use all CAPS in your messages. It's very hard to read
and also alerts spam filters to filter your ad in the spam file.
Using caps to emphasize certain words is OK.
=> Track your messages so you know what kind of click through
rates you're getting. The core-business, NPN has an excellent
link tracking tool that you can use. But you have to join
NPN to use it.
=> Switch messages around and make sure your headlines match the
letters you use. If someone opens your message expecting one
thing and starts reading another, they'll delete is faster than
they clicked on it.
=> Use headlines that you would click on. How about the headline
that got you to click on the message that brought you to OSI?
=> Vary the times of day you promote. If you've been promoting in
the morning, start promoting in the evening, etc..
=> Register for, and go to the member forum and find out what is
working for other members, they can be very helpful.
=> If you send to 8 Safelists a day, up it to 12 or more Safelists a
day. Send to as many email addresses as possible each day.
=> NEVER sell. Give away the system. People don't like to be sold.
When I started OSI I had 0 members and just myself promoting. Four
months later, we had over 4,000 registered members. We now average
40 to 80 new members every single day. So the plan is obviously
working.
=> Join and send your messages to the Safelists in the Safelist
Directory. There are more than 4,500 to choose from. Send to the
Safelists that have the most members.
=> Join Traffic Hoopla and send to the 20 Safelists they rate as the

=> Never use the HTML feature in your messages. This fomats your
text into on large paragraph which makes it hard to read, look very
unprofessional and eliminates any potential responses.
=> Keep in mind the season and time differences around the world. When
it's summer in the northern hemisphere, it's winter in the southern
hemisphere and visa versa. OSI has members from every continent on
the planet.
When it's summer the weather is nice and people are outside longer.
With exception to Australia and New Zealand, your major markets will be
the U.S., U.K., Canada and the rest of Europe.
Traditionally, fall is the busiest time for people seeking opportunities
to join a home-based business. Remember that when you're promoting.
=> If you don't sign anyone up in your first week or two - DON'T QUIT!
Eventually you'll start to refer more and more new members. But if you quit,
you'll never sponsor anyone.

Here's a story I like to sum up what I'm saying...
You may or may not have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful
distributors in Amway.
Some years ago, 20/20 (a U.S. investigative TV show) did a feature story
on Amway. In typical hit-journalism fashion, they spent 19 minutes
interviewing whiners and complainers -- several distributors who had
failed and showed their garages full of products they couldn't sell.
During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of
his palatial home. He was asked, "Mr. Britt, this business has obviously
worked for you. What's your secret?"
Bill Britt replied...
"There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said,
'No.' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all.
Out of those 85 only 35 were serious, and out of those 35, 11 made me a
millionaire."

I'm no different than you, if I can do it - there is NO reason that you can't
do it. We all hit that road where it seems no one will sign up for your program.
The difference between the successful online marketers and those who jump
from business to business with no success is this...
...the successful marketers DON'T get discouraged -- they GET DETERMINED!
The unsuccessful marketers whine,complain and quit. It's everyone else's fault
besides theirs.
Remember... Challenge doesn't build character -- it reveals it. You
eithre have it or you don't.
You have to continue to persist. If you quit you'll never know what could
have been. If you succeed, so does everyone else on your team. So it's
also in everyone's best interest for you to you succeed.

Quit! Give Up! You're Beaten!

Here's a poem that has brought me inspiration, I hope
it does the same for you.
The Race

"QUIT! GIVE UP! YOU'RE BEATEN!" They shout out and plead,
There's just too much against you now, this time you can't succeed.
And as I start to hang my head in front of failure's face,
My downward fall is broken by the memory of a race.
And hope refills my weakened will as I recall that scene.
For just the thought of that short race rejuvenates my being.
A children's race, young boys, young men; now I remember well.
Excitement, sure, but also fear; it wasn't hard to tell.
They all lined up so full of hope. Each thought to win that race
Or tie for first, or if not that, at least take second place.
And fathers watched from off the side, each cheering for his son.
And each boy hoped to show his dad that he would be the one.
The whistle blew and off they went, young hearts and hopes of fire.
To win, to be the hero there, was each young boy's desire.
And one boy in particular, his dad was in the crowd,
Was running near the lead and thought, "My Dad will be so proud."
But as he speeded down the field across a shallow dip,
The little boy who thought to win, lost his step and slipped.
Trying hard to catch himself, his hands flew out to brace,
And mid the laughter of the crowd, he fell flat on his face.
So down he fell and with him hope. He couldn't win it now.
Embarrassed, sad, he only wished to disappear somehow.
But as he fell, his dad stood up and showed his anxious face,
Which to the boy so clearly said, "Get up and win that race!"
He quickly rose, no damage done - behind a bit, that's all,
And ran with all his mind and might to make up for his fall.
So anxious to restore himself to catch up and to win,
His mind went faster than his legs. He slipped and fell again.
He wished that he had quit before with only one disgrace.
I'm hopeless as a runner now, I shouldn't try to race.
But, in a laughing crowd he searched and found his father's face
That steady look that said again, "Get up and win the race."
So, he jumped up to try again. Ten yards behind the last.
If I'm to gain those yards, he thought, I've got to run real fast.
Exceeding everything he had, he regained eight or ten,
But trying so hard to catch the lead, he slipped and fell again.
Defeat! He lay there silently, a tear dropped from his eye.
There's no sense running anymore - three strikes I'm out - why try?
The will to rise had disappeared, all hope had fled away.
So far behind, so error prone, closer all the way.
I've lost, so what's the use, he thought, I'll live with my disgrace.
But then he thought about his dad, who soon he'd have to face.
"Get up," and echo sounded low, "Get up and take your place.
You were not meant for failure here, get up and win the race."
With borrowed will, "Get up," it said, "You haven't lost at all.
For winning is not more than this: to rise each time you fall."
So up he rose to win once more, and with a new commit,
He resolved that win or lose, at least he wouldn't quit.
So far behind the others now, the most he'd ever been.
Still he gave it all he had and ran as though to win.
Three times he'd fallen stumbling, three times he'd rose again.
Too far behind to hope to win, he still ran to the end.
They cheered the winning runner as he crossed first place.
Head high and proud and happy; no falling, no disgrace.
But when the fallen youngster crossed the line, last place.
The crowd gave him the greater cheer for finishing the race.
And even though he came in last, with head bowed low, unproud;
You would have thought he won the race, to listen to the crowd.
And to his Dad he sadly said, "I didn't do so well."
"To me you won," his father said, "You rose each time you fell."
And when things seem dark and hard and difficult to face,
The memory of that little boy helps me in my race.
For all of life is like that race, with ups and downs and all,
And all you have to do to win is rise each time you fall.
"QUIT! GIVE UP! YOU'RE BEATEN!" they still shout in my face,
But another voice within me says, "GET UP AND WIN THE RACE!"
